Things you wish you knew earlier

Surround yourself with competent people. Don't rely on TikTok or the PED guru.

Educate yourself and get informed before you get impatient and start getting injected faster than a premature ejaculator.

Less is more, yes. And the simpler and more basic, the better.

less is more'

indeed.
also:
- Rest is more important than training, enjoy the time with family, friends
- Prefer the movements than the high weight while working out
- you dont need 3g + protein per kilo of bodyweight
- you dont have to get fat in off season
- doing peds doesnt help if the training, rest and nutrition isnt on point

If I could go back in time, I would have asked myself not to overtrain during the first cycle. My muscles grew quickly, but my tendons didn't keep up, and I suffered my first chronic injuries during that time.

Yeah, you’re right — I totally agree. When I first started doing deadlifts, people kept telling me to retract my shoulder blades. But come on, I’m here for powerlifting! Pulling the scapulae back just increases the range of motion and makes the lift harder. They clearly didn’t know what they were talking about.
