Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick update on my TRT journey and see how others are getting on with theirs.

I’ve been on TRT for about 3 and a half months now. Started at 120mg/week and recently bumped up to 150mg after getting my bloods back – everything came back clean and solid, so felt comfortable making the slight increase under guidance.

Honestly, TRT has been life-changing. I feel like a completely new man.
  • My drive and motivation, especially towards work, have gone way up.
  • Confidence has increased big time – socially and just in general day-to-day stuff.
  • Energy levels are up, mental clarity is better, and overall quality of life feels like it’s on a whole different level.
I know there’s a lot of talk about risks and side effects, and everyone reacts differently, but for me so far the benefits have been overwhelmingly positive. I didn’t realize how much I was running on empty until I started feeling normal again.

Curious to hear from the rest of you –
  • How long have you been on TRT?
  • What dose are you running?
  • How has your experience been overall?
Would be great to get a discussion going and compare notes, especially for anyone considering making adjustments or just starting out.

Hey
What was the reason for your switch to TRT? To be honest, I have never been on TRT - I always use Blast and Cruise, although I have been on 250 mg testosterone for over a year now

Hello everyone,

I have just started my TRT and am currently taking 250 mg/week.

It would be great if like-minded people could share their experiences here.

This is the only way we can learn and continue to develop.

Topics could include dosage recommendations, aromatase inhibitors, blood thinning, prostate protection, etc.

I started out on prescription T. Cypionate, 200 mg per week. Energy, drive, motivation, confidence,... within 2 weeks everything you mentioned went way up. I thought it was amazing. The doctor recommended I drop to 120 per week so I did that for 4 weeks and felt like most/all improvements went away. After 6 weeks I had blood work done and everything was great so I increased to 150-160 per week. This helped again but I'm not sure it was as significant as when I was on 200.
I had blood work done 6 weeks later and everything was perfect so my doctor advised I stay on this dose. The sweet spot. A balance of safety and efficacy. Now I'm on 150 per week of T. Undeconate. A longer half life with less potential side effects over the long term.
I am 53 yo, so I want to do this another 30 years ;)

I started almost 6 months ago and I have had ZERO negative side effects. I had comprehensive blood work done prior to starting, and 2 more times since then. Everything is in normal ranges and my endocrenologist (MD, PhD) said this dosing is long term sustainable.
Honestly, I'd like to try increasing the dose back to 200 for a while just to find out if it feels like it did when I first started. But for now I'm happy with how I feel and sleep well knowing I'm doing no harm.

125 mg testosterone and 80 mg primo for over 2 years... I feel great and good results for my 50 years... the only parameter out of range is hematocrit at 53/54... I don't want to stop or lower the dosage
HTC can lead to more serious kidney problems if left like this for too long.

So please do something to manage it.

I use Sustanon every 9 days at 125mg, I have currently been using Proviron every 3 days to keep SHBG in range, i am currently aged 45. Adjusted Proviron recently from every 2 days due to lowering of SHBG doing to good a job.
At 43 I started using 125mg every 6 days kept the same 125mg dose but adjusted the days schedule over the last 2 years including provi days schedule.

At 43 With no trt
13.82 nmol/l total
0.232 nmol/l free
46.2 nmol/l SHBG

Last blood test 45
22.49 nmol/l total
0.386 nmol/l free
32.7 nmol/l SHBG

Current
Haematocrit 0.42 l/l
Haemoglobin 143 g/l

I have good energy levels, decent libido, sleep pattern is no different not a measure useful for me. Weight has gained due to muscle mass increase, no noticeable fat around the waistline if anything clothes looser around the waist.

I would like to find out more about Enclomiphene citrate in terms of use for trt and to hear anyone's point of view. Hear about other options people use to easily adjust SHBG.

Please, if you are in treatment, do not use sustanon. Use Testosterone Undecanoate instead.

More stable and better for the body.

Absolutely not useful in TRT.
Useful for those who want to get out of that.

Some also use it to boost their natural testosterone levels. It is a misuse of the product and it is bad in the long term (given that a TRT is considered for long term use)

I used Enclomiphen before my TRT. It raised my testosterone levels a little, but not enough.
The problem is that when you reach a certain age (I'm 54), your testicles simply can't produce anymore, no matter how much you stimulate them.
That's why I've now switched to testosterone.
But give it a try and see what happens; every person is an individual and reacts differently.
Good luck!

Thank you for that i have ordered Undecanoate and will switch now I know the results show from using this brand. It was hard to source it until now.

Let me know how it goes after you've used it for a while. I'd be interested to hear how big the difference is.
Thanks.

Regarding administration of Undeconate. What is your opinion on IM vs SubQ? I know it's recommended IM, but I asked my doc if I could do SubQ (like I did for cypionate). And that's what I've been doing, seemingly without problem: 75 mg SubQ 2x per week.
Does it matter? Or influence the effectiveness?

As far as I know, many TRT doctors recommend it because hormone levels supposedly remain more stable, but I haven't found any real scientific evidence for this. Since it is absorbed through the lymphatic system and is an oily solution, I could well imagine that this is probably why the dosage is lower. If not, you at least have the advantage of easier injections.
It's best to do a test yourself and see what the testosterone looks like.

Thanks. The biggest 'risk' is just injection site nodules and irritation/pain. I've just started the SubQ Undecanoate. I'll have follow up blood work at 3 months.

It depends on the amount. You can easily do multiple 0.1ml in several places on the body. There's skin everywhere 😁. And with Test U you only do this once a week.

Hi!

I am 53 years old and am currently on 200-250mg testosterone enanthate or cypionate (depends) weekly.

My hematocrit is at 57, hemoglobin at 18.50 (not very high) and creatinine at 1.41 (always high, I guess it's due to training).
Cholesterol is perfect, very low.

My energy is not very high, but I sleep very little. High libido.
I don't use undecanoate because some studies indicate that it has more adverse effects than other forms of testosterone.

What studies mention this? I'd be interested to read them if you have any information on it 😊

I'm 32 and have been on Test E for over a year now. Started at 125 mg/week and stayed there for way too long.😅 Recently bumped my testosterone dose to 175 mg/week.

The difference has been night and day. Mood, energy, recovery and libido all improved significantly. I didn’t even realize how flat I had been feeling until I increased the dose. Hematocrit and hemoglobin are within range, no issues there. Only HDL is low, but it's always been on the lower side for me. Everything else looks good.

Thank you for mentioning this as I am about to start using Undecanoate following what was mentioned in here about switching from Sustanon to Undecanoate i still understand that the switch is valid and needed, but this information helps with decisions and what I could possibly expect. This thread is turning out to be very informative with the added willingness to share experiences.

Let's wait for his answer. But honestly, test is test. And it depends on how the study was conducted.

I don't know anyone who has experienced more serious side effects with Tzsto U than with Testo C or Sustanon. Especially at physiological doses (=TRT).
