I am 50 years old right now, and training since nearly 35 years. I used to be a powerlifter and did very heavy workouts for quite a long time, but since i got older and also had some injuries i switched to „normal“ style training … still quite heavy, but nothing too crazy. I train in the 6-12 rep range now.

Before beginning my current cycle, I was running basically a TRT+ with the following compounds :

50mg DHEA every Morning.
3 IU HGH every evening.
150 mg TEST cypionate every 3-5 days
75 mg Drostanolone Enanthat every 3-5 days

I did this for quite a long time, i was feeling good, kept my strenght and had no side effects.
I normally have 4 workouts in the gym per week, and 1 at home at the weekend, so 5 in total. This is my sweet spot between traing and rest.

On 03.09.2025 I have started a mini cycle using the following products :



50mg DHEA every Morning.

3 IU Somatropin HGH liquid every evening.

250 mg Cypilos (Testosterone Cypionate) 2 times a week - 500mg total

100 mg Dihydroboldos (Dihydroboldenone Cypionate) 2 times a week - 200mg total

Additional on training days in the morning :

50 mcg IGF-1 LR3

1 IU Somatropin HGH liquid (for a synergistic effect with the IGF-1)

1 -2 Modus 100mg as a lil booster



The goal ist to add some dry mass, strenght and to get the bodyfat a little bit down.
Subjective Experience
The results are great till now ! You can feel that the the DHB is a much more potent steroid than many others !
In the first 3 weeks i gained about 6KG ... strenght increased a lot, and training is on another level !
DHB Boosts overall power and performance, comparable to Primobolan but more potent.
It promotes hard, dense muscle growth without water retention, ideal for a "shredded" look.

The IGF-1 LR3 is another compound i like to use ! I use it on training days in the morning, 50mcg are enough for me, but some people prefer to take 100mcg.
Unlike natural IGF-1, which has a short half-life of about 10-20 minutes, IGF-1 LR3 remains active in the body for up to 20-30 hours, making it more effective for sustained effects.
It promotes anabolic processes, including muscle growth, tissue repair, and cell proliferation, by binding to IGF-1 receptors and activating pathways like the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway.

Recovery and appetite were great for me, i also didn´t notice any negative mental side effects
The only thing i noticed , especially when i started this cycle, was a bad sleep the first 1-3 days after injection, but it was bearable.
Another know side effect is severe post-injection pain, swelling, and inflammation from the DHB.
You can reduce it when you mix it with Testosteone first and warm it up a little bit before injecting.
Objective Data
Weight before 128KG, after 4 weeks 134,4 KG.
Most of the gain is lean, with no signs of water retention . My arms and shoulders are noticeably fuller.
Performance incresed a lot, the muscle feeling is great when working out.
Product Quality and Credibility
I´m using PED´s since 1998, and have tried a lot of different manufacturers.. Some were better, some worse, but quality was always inconsistent ... you never knew what you get.

Side Effects and Injection Feedback
PIP is quite high with DHB , you can reduce it with mixing with another compound and heating it up.

Reading this from someone with 35+ years under the bar gives it a whole other weight.

The way you break down each piece of the stack, the subjective feel, the hard numbers and the honest notes about sleep and PIP… that’s exactly the kind of experience newer guys can’t find in a label or a random blog. Huge respect for still pushing, experimenting and sharing at 50!!!

I really like how you’ve paired DHB with a solid Test base and added IGF-1 LR3 in a measured way. It’s a smart approach: DHB gives that dry, dense look without the water baggage, and IGF-1 LR3 on training days makes a lot of sense for recovery and nutrient partitioning. Your note about mixing and warming DHB to reduce PIP is gold… people underestimate how brutal it can be.


If I could suggest anything, it would be to keep tracking your labs as you go (especially liver and lipids with DHB) and maybe consider standardizing progress pics in the same lighting and poses. You’re about to clearly making big visual changes, and seeing them documented would help others follow the impact of this combo over time. Also, logging strength milestones (main lifts or key accessory lifts) would add another layer of value to the thread.
