Hello,
I’m 33 years old, 180 cm tall, currently weighing around 89 kg with approximately 16-17% body fat.
I’ve been training for many years and have experience with testosterone, but I’ve never used Primobolan before.
I’m currently taking 250 mg of Testosterone Enanthate per week since 18.07.2026
My coach has recommended adding 100 mg of Primobolan per week.
My main goals are to build more lean muscle mass, improve overall symmetry and muscle definition, and eventually achieve a stage-ready physique with very low body fat.
Before introducing Primobolan, I’d appreciate a second opinion.
Would adding 100 mg of Primobolan per week offer meaningful benefits alongside my current testosterone use 125mg x2 weekly ? What are the potential risks, and what health markers should I monitor?
I currently feel healthy and have no known health issues.
Thank you for your advice!

Hi and welcome to the community.

Speaking in terms of general recommendations, Primo is one of the most popular compounds. It potentially comes with fewer side effects and is often used with testosterone to build lean muscle mass. As for the test-to-Primo ratio, 250 and 100 are quite commonly used dosages.

I like that your coach initially chose a minimalist approach — it’s better to build muscle with minimal dosages and increase them gradually if necessary. Of course, competitive athletes don’t step on stage with such a minimalist approach, but it definitely makes sense to start low.

One thing that’s especially important when using Primo is that it lowers estradiol. This is good because you may not need to use aromatase inhibitors, but to make sure your estradiol doesn’t get too low, you’ll eventually need to find the right Primo-to-test ratio to keep estradiol at optimal levels for you. This is determined through blood tests. In any case, 250 and 100 is a good starting point. After 2 weeks, it makes sense to test your estradiol and check it. If you already have estradiol bloodwork from when you were on 250 mg of test, you can send it here and then we can compare the difference.

Besides that, I always recommend checking other blood markers as well to monitor them and make adjustments if necessary. I can send you a list.

Blood pressure is also extremely important. Do you measure it?

40 kg is awesome, bro, you’ve done a lot of work on yourself 🔥 (y)

Hi and Thank you for the informations and quick response.
i had bloodwork done before starting with Test and next week Monday im doing it again so i will be able to send it to you next Wednesday.
and after starting with primo i will also do it after 2 weeks of using as you recommend, but i will wait your reply regarding my bloodwork next week before starting with primo.

thank you for your time this really means a lot

kind regards

You’re welcome, bro! Send your bloodwork here when you get the results, and we’ll definitely go through it. 🤜

Dear Sam,
Attached are my latest blood test results. The blood was drawn on Monday morning, right before my 125 mg Testosterone Enanthate injection. My next 125 mg dose is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday. For the past two weeks, I was injecting a bit extra—125 mg on Monday, 125 mg on Wednesday, plus an extra 50 mg on Friday or Saturday. However, I am now back to my standard protocol of 250 mg per week, split into two 125 mg doses on Mondays and Wednesdays.
I am incredibly grateful for all your help and advice regarding Primobolan and keeping my estradiol levels under control if needed (though right now, I don't have any side effects or issues). I am also considering adding HCG to wake things up, since I’ve been running this cycle since July 18th of this year and am thinking about extending it.

thank you

Hi. Feel free to reach out, that’s exactly why we’re here — to help you figure things out and eventually learn how to manage your protocols yourself.

Your bloodwork looks great, and I don’t see any reason to worry about anything at the moment. For a more complete picture, next time you don’t need to run such a large panel, but you can add a few other tests such as:
  • ApoB — more informative than LDL alone for assessing the number of atherogenic particles.
  • Lp(a) — if you’ve never tested it before; usually it’s enough to check it at least once, since the level is mainly genetically determined.
  • PSA — makes sense for long-term prostate monitoring on TRT.
  • Homocysteine — one of the additional markers of cardiovascular risk.
The only thing I would point out is your estradiol level. It’s predictably high because your testosterone level is also above the reference range. It would be better to lower estradiol at this level. Subjectively, this level can affect libido and mood, but that isn’t always the case because individual sensitivity varies. But based on what I see so far, I would lower estradiol to around the upper end of the reference range or slightly above it. Primo should help with this.

There is one nuance here though — it’s important that the adjusted estradiol level is right specifically for you. What I would do step by step:
  1. Two weeks after adding Primo, test estradiol again.
  2. Compare how you feel in terms of libido and mood.
  3. If adding Primo hasn’t made these things worse, or has even improved them, then you’re on the right track.
As for HCG — it definitely makes sense to add it.

I’d recommend sticking to this minimalist dosing protocol for as long as you’re making noticeable progress, while continuing to monitor your bloodwork. But I would adjust your list of tests and make it shorter. Right now, you have a lot of tests that only need to be done once every six months to a year, or when there are significant changes to your protocol, while some aren’t really necessary at all. One of the most overrated tests is testosterone.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Your slightly elevated progesterone is worth retesting with estradiol when you add Primo, just to make sure it was only a random fluctuation.

And to complete the picture, I’d also like you to measure your blood pressure for a week. Do you have a blood pressure monitor?

Dear Sam,

Thank you for the updated information and guidance.

Starting tomorrow, I will begin monitoring my blood pressure regularly. I will also add the additional blood tests to my testing protocol and arrange an appointment as soon as possible.

I also wanted to let you know that I have just received my Primo order (100 mg/ml).

Would you recommend starting it this week, or would it be better to wait until next Monday and begin alongside my scheduled testosterone injection?

Additionally, what starting dosage would you recommend for the first injection, and how should I proceed from there?

I appreciate your continued guidance and support.

Best regards

Just in case, I’ll leave you a note on how to measure your blood pressure properly.

To get an objective picture of your blood pressure, it’s better to look at the average readings over several days.

Measure your blood pressure for 7 consecutive days, preferably under the same conditions. Each time, take 2 measurements about 1 minute apart. If the two readings are very different, sit calmly for a few more minutes and take a third measurement.
  • For 30 minutes before measuring, don’t exercise, smoke or use nicotine, drink coffee, energy drinks, or other stimulants.
  • After heavy physical activity, don’t measure your blood pressure immediately if you want to assess your usual level.
  • Sit calmly for at least 5 minutes before measuring.
  • Sit on a chair with back support. Keep your back supported, feet flat on the floor, and don’t cross your legs. Relax your arm and place it on a table so that the cuff is approximately at heart level. Don’t talk or move during the measurement.
In the morning — after waking up and using the bathroom, and before eating, drinking coffee, or taking your morning medications, if possible.
In the evening — at roughly the same time each day, when you’re already in a relaxed state.

It would be better to wait until Monday and inject 50 mg together with 125 mg of testosterone. At the very least, this will be more convenient because you can simply mix both compounds in the same syringe and do one injection instead of two. And you can continue doing it this way afterward.

Then, 2 weeks after the injection, you should test your estradiol and progesterone to make sure the latter is within the normal range.

The other tests I mentioned above can be done later when it’s time for your routine bloodwork. During the cycle, you need to monitor the main markers that are particularly important: a complete blood count (CBC), where hematocrit is especially important, your lipid profile, estradiol, prolactin, and some biochemistry markers to monitor the function of your internal organs.

Next time, after you test your estradiol, I would do the next routine bloodwork about 6 weeks later to monitor any possible changes 🤜
