So I was Fed up of carrying a notebook to the gym or sending myself WhatsApp messages to remember weights and reps — sweaty pages, dead pens, flicking back to find last week's numbers. So I described what I wanted to do and it built me a gym tracker from scratch as a web app I can open on my phone.
It's a 4-day per week split based on Yates blood and guts high intensity low volume — you tap in your warm-up and work sets per exercise, and it remembers them for next time so there's no more flicking back. It flags a PR automatically when you beat a previous best, and shows a tiny trend line per exercise so you can see if you're actually progressing. There's a rest timer built in too.
Past that it's turned into a bit of an everything-app: nutrition macros, a strength/conditioning PR tracker, body measurement check-ins with charts, and daily checklists for muay thai and grip strength training I'm doing alongside lifting. All stored on my phone, nothing synced anywhere.

How does everyone else track their training — still paper, an app, or just memory?

Looks cool brother I'm terrible with computer stuff I would always just keep a notebook and fill it in once a week of memory

Love this bro, having your workouts, nutrition and PRs all in one place is genuinely useful. I'd love to see an automatic progressive overload tracker, recovery monitoring and maybe an AI feature that reviews your weekly performance and suggests adjustments. Since everything stays on your phone, an export/backup function (like a PDF) would also be essential. I think quite a few people here would enjoy testing it!

Thanks dude appreciate the feedback . It has a progression chart built in to the exercises progress and pr challenges . It also has a back up button export import but I didn't use it . I've taken some time off when my newest arrival came and in a new gym now so maybe it's a blessing I get to start filling it in again but at least I haven't got to look for scrunched up bits of paper now lol. Happy to show my workings if anyone is interested but the app is so personalised to me it's not worth sharing my copy haha
