I'm now in the 6th week of my Cycle Test & Masteron cycle. Starting in week 3, I've also had to take 500 IU of HCG twice a week. I've noticed that I'm retaining a lot of fluid/fat on my stomach, while the rest of my body remains lean. The sides of my stomach also stay fairly lean—it’s really just on my love handles. Personally, I think this has to do with the HCG. Does anyone have any tips on how to prevent or fix this? Thanks in advance!

Hi.

Nothing to do with hcg. You are probably the one who manages your weight gain badly.

It is genetics that determine the areas of the body that fill up with fat the most easily.
But hcg doesn't cause what you describe.

Manage your diet and your weight gain related to your performance (no more than 0,3-0,5% of body weight per week. Hoping you started your cycle not being more than 10% bodyfat)

I followed the advice that the pedsdoctor gave me based on foto's of my physic everything. But I'm gaining 1kg and more a week. My weight was 86kg on the 20th of September and today my weight is 93,3kg. I noticed an insane increase in strenght ass well. I eat healthy so I don't understand why I'm gaining so much weight. Ive you've any tips please let me know. The cycle he gave me was 500 test and 800 mast a week + 500iu hcg 2 times a week. Maybe you're right that its just genetics beceause as a kid my belly was always the place I had the most fat. Maybe its beceause last winter I was at my peak 95,6kg maybe I grow so fast now beceause I have already been there.

This is a fairly typical situation. You’ve gained a very large amount of weight in a short period — some of that weight is muscle, some is water, and possibly some is fat. The water your body retains can also give you a fuller, denser look, especially when it’s being held inside the muscles. But water accumulates in different places: some inside the cells and some in the extracellular space. Altogether, this can create the look of a bigger body with less definition. That’s one of the reasons why it makes sense to get leaner before starting a cycle — so that you have some room to work with when you start gaining.

If your stomach is the area where you tend to store fat the fastest, then it’s difficult to deal with that area separately. The only real solution is to lower your overall body fat.

What you can do:
  1. Review your diet and reduce the amount of carbohydrates. Water can drop within 3–4 days, and after that you’ll be able to assess how much glycogen is contributing to the overall look.
  2. Review how much salt you’re getting from food. Salt can also cause significant water retention, especially outside the cells, and this is what can create that “watery” look.
  3. Calculate your calories and start controlling them, while also monitoring whether you’re still progressing in strength and whether your appearance is improving.
As for the dosages of 500 mg test and 800 mg Masteron, personally I think that’s too much.

Yeah I already switched to 250mg test and 400 masteron on advice of my doctor so I will see what happens next
