Hello,

Im now 3 years on and at the Moment just on test. 150 per Week. In january im in the US for 12 days and dont want to take something with me.

Can I Switch from Enanthat to the very Long lasting ester undecanoat ? Just for These 12 days and Switch back when im in my Country again ?

Thx for the help

Hi Danny,

Yes, I always recommend doing it this way. Just inject around 300 mg on the last day before you leave, and that should be more than enough for you to feel fine during those 12 days.

Actually, in your case it’s not even necessary. You can stay on enanthate; it’s just that the first 4–5 days will have higher peak levels, and you’ll need to take an aromatase inhibitor.

Alright, so I should just stay on Enanthat ? And dont use the other ester ?

Thanks for clarifying.

Just to make sure I understand correctly: I’m currently taking 150 mg of testosterone enanthate per week. Are you suggesting that I inject 300 mg of enanthate before leaving for the US and then resume my usual 150 mg weekly schedule when I return?

Or are you referring to switching to testosterone undecanoate?

The optimal option would be to switch to undecanoate, but it’s not necessary at all — you can simply increase the enanthate dose to 300 mg and inject it on the last day before you leave. This is less optimal because there will initially be a more pronounced peak followed by a sharper decline, but it’s not critical.

Take a couple of aromatase inhibitor tablets with you. Are you currently using an aromatase inhibitor? If so, what dosage? And you split the 150 mg into several injections per week, correct?

Alright, i inject every 3 days. When I Switch, how much should i inject befor I leave ?

Thx a lot for Ur help

Are you using aromatase inhibitors?

What oil is the undecanoate in? The absorption rate and blood levels will depend on that.

Honestly for 2 weeks you won't feel anything about not injecting. Knowing that 150mg surely puts you at supraphysiological dosages.

The same thing with the physical aspect.

Just enjoy your holidays, and do your injections as soon as possible when you came back home.

The switch is however interesting if you were tired of injecting often.
Test undecanoate gives you the possibility to do 150mg one time a week or 300mg every 2 weeks without problem or any sides.

So in the end, if you want or have to switch, you might as well switch forever. Choose the simplest solution (And once again, not injecting anything for 2 weeks will not be a problem, unless you overthink about it too much)

Due to the low dose I'm currently taking, aromatase inhibitors aren't necessary at the moment, as my estradiol levels are in a very good range. I do have some on hand, though (25 mg tablets). The oil is sesame oil.

Since your E2 is already in a good range without an AI, there's no reason to introduce one unnecessarily.
Regarding the sesame oil, that's useful to know, but the carrier oil alone isn't enough to determine the absorption rate. The specific undecanoate formulation matters too.
Personally, for just 12 days, I wouldn't bother switching esters. Undecanoate has a much longer release profile, so switching back to enanthate immediately afterwards could make things unnecessarily complicated.
I'd also avoid doubling your usual enanthate dose just to cover the trip. A short interruption may cause some fluctuations, but it's unlikely to erase your progress.
Keep it simple, mate. 💪

And yes, what @SalvatoreCorvus said is also true. Nothing will happen to you over those 2 weeks if you just don’t overthink it too much. When I was injecting 250 mg of enanthate once a week, I started noticing a drop in libido around day 10. So nothing serious will happen unless you’re going to Thailand to spend your whole vacation with women you pay for :D

But if you want to go through the trouble of switching to undecanoate or just inject 300 mg of enanthate before you leave, simply take 3–4 tablets with you so that if you notice any signs of high estradiol, you can take half a tablet. If after a couple of days you don’t get the desired effect, take another half. Most likely, though, you won’t need a single tablet at all. You can just take them with you to be safe.

As for undecanoate — yes, the ester has a longer half-life, but we don’t have precise data on its blood levels when it’s in sesame oil or another carrier oil. The concentration profile people usually talk about refers to the official formulation in castor oil. If we’re talking about undecanoate in a different oil, the dosage and injection frequency need to be adjusted. Driada, for example, uses sesame oil, and the concentration profile will differ significantly.

And honestly, I don’t know anyone who actually uses protocols with 1000 mg of undecanoate once every 6 weeks in practice. The same applies to TRT protocols with Sustanon. The official instructions say one 250 mg injection every 3 weeks. But in practice, the first week will give excessively high levels, while by the end of the third week the levels will be excessively low.

In simple terms: with tea-seed oil, testosterone levels were higher during the first 1–2 weeks, but then decreased faster. With castor oil, testosterone was released more slowly and remained in the body for considerably longer.

The estimated half-life was about 21 days with tea-seed oil vs 34 days with castor oil.

Thanks, guys, for all the detailed feedback. Helped a Lot. I was just afraid I’d fall into a depression over there and suddenly grow a vagina 😂😂😂

Nah, everything will be fine. Maybe your clitoris will lose a little sensitivity around day 10, don’t worry:D
