My Cycle Log: Bulking 2025

Starting Stats

  • Age: 30
  • Height: 5’9” (175 cm)
  • Weight (Start): 172 lbs (78 kg)
  • Goal: Bulking, aiming to gain 8–12 lbs of lean muscle and boost strength in big lifts.
PED Protocol - Total Duration: 12 weeks

Weeks 1–8:

  • Testosterone Enanthate: 500 mg/week (2 injections of 250 mg, Tuesday & Friday)
  • Boldenone Undecylenate: 400 mg/week (2 injections of 200 mg, Tuesday & Friday)
  • Arimidex (Anastrozole): 0.5 mg every other day (to manage estrogen)
Weeks 9–12:
  • Testosterone Enanthate: 500 mg/week (2 injections of 250 mg, Tuesday & Friday)
  • Arimidex: 0.5 mg every other day (may adjust based on bloods)
Ancillary/Support:
  • Omega-3: 3 g/day
  • Vitamin D: 4000 IU/day
  • ZMA (Zinc & Magnesium): Before bed
Training & Nutrition - Training Split:
  • Mon: Chest + Triceps (bench press, incline dumbbells, skull crushers)
  • Tue: Back + Biceps (barbell rows, pull-ups, curls)
  • Wed: Rest or light cardio (20 min brisk walk)
  • Thu: Legs (squats, leg press, calf raises)
  • Fri: Shoulders + Traps (overhead press, shrugs)
  • Sat: Full rest
  • Sun: Light session (arms or lagging groups)
  • 4–5 sessions/week, focusing on progressive overload.
Nutrition:
  • Calories: ~3800 kcal/day (calculated maintenance + 500 kcal surplus)
  • Macros: ~220 g protein, 450 g carbs, 90 g fats
  • Food: Chicken, beef, rice, oats, eggs, avocado, nuts, veggies
  • Cheat meal: Weekly pizza or burger to stay sane
Supplements:
  • Whey Protein: 1–2 scoops/day
  • Creatine Monohydrate: 5 g/day (post-workout)
  • BCAA: 10 g during workouts
  • Multivitamin
Progress & Notes (Week 1)
  • Weight: 172 lbs (78 kg)
  • Strength: Bench press 225 lbs x 8 reps, squats 285 lbs x 10, barbell row 200 lbs x 8
  • Side Effects: Minor soreness at injection sites first few days, some water retention (likely from Test).
  • Experience: Feeling strong in the gym, energy is through the roof. Appetite is crazy, eating like a horse. Sleep is decent but woke up a couple times at night.
  • Plan: Will update every 2–3 weeks, bloodwork scheduled for Week 6 (Test, E2, liver).
Update: Week 4
  • Weight: 177.5 lbs (80.5 kg, +5.5 lbs)
  • Strength: Bench press 235 lbs x 8 (+10 lbs), squats 310 lbs x 8 (+25 lbs), barbell row 210 lbs x 8
  • Side Effects: Slight nipple sensitivity (early gyno?), bumped Arimidex to 0.5 mg daily. Water retention reduced.
  • Experience: Strength is climbing fast, seeing gains in the mirror—shoulders and chest popping. Bit tired by end of week, added pre-workout carbs (oats + banana). Sleeping like a rock now.
  • Notes: Legs lagging a bit, planning to add more volume next phase. Bloods in 2 weeks.
Update: Week 8
  • Weight: 181.4 lbs (82.3 kg, +9.4 lbs)
  • Strength: Bench press 245 lbs x 8, squats 320 lbs x 8, barbell row 220 lbs x 8
  • Side Effects: Blood pressure slightly up (130/85), added 20 min cardio 2x/week. Some acne on back, not too bad. Bloods at Week 6 showed Test high, E2 at 35 pg/mL, liver fine.
  • Experience: Feeling jacked and strong, recovery is great. Mirror shows solid gains in back and arms. Struggling to hit calorie goals some days—appetite is wild.
  • Notes: Dropping Boldenone at Week 9 as planned. Next cycle, might try low-dose Tren. Bloods again at Week 12.

  • Tips: Don’t rush with doses, keep an eye on E2, and prioritize food—it’s the real driver of gains.

Bro, don't you think that Boldenone and Anastrozole together are too much of a hit on your estrogen levels?
 
It's all individualized just based on the tests
You are right, I did not notice your blood test. I have such estradiol level when using boldenone in a ratio of 1:2 to testosterone without any addition of aromatase inhibitor
 
I have been on a break for 3 months now, taking 200 mg of testosterone per week, focusing on recovering my CNS and improving my bloodwork. Due to some life problems, I decided to take a break, lower blood viscosity, and restore my CNS.

I feel good.

I use supplements: ashwagandha 1 gram in the morning and evening, a vitamin-mineral complex, vitamin C, and vitamin D (I tested my vitamin D levels and they were on the low side, so I currently take 5000 IU). I train in the gym 2–3 times a week without pre-workout supplements, sometimes drinking coffee before training. During the workout, I make a shake with creatine, amino acids, arginine, and citrulline. Recently, I’ve been focusing more on stretching.

Soon, I will start testing products and keeping a diary from the very beginning, after 3–4 months of rest. It’s going to be interesting.

You could stabilise your hormon levels and decrease side effects if you inject more frequently, like every 2 days all compounds combined in 1 syringe, its possible that e² levels would be more stable

It all depends on your tasks and goals, so you can’t just say which is “the best.” Good combinations include testosterone + masteron, testosterone + boldenone, testosterone + primobolan, and testosterone + trenbolone. For a beginner, I would recommend testosterone and masteron because you’ll get strength and a real “wow” effect, or testosterone and boldenone — it’s a matter of preference. Everything depends on your experience, goals, diet, lifestyle, and training level. Also, if you plan to use high doses, there can be a compression effect, so it’s better to add another anabolic rather than just increase the dose — that way you’ll get better results with fewer side effects.

Thank you for your experiences, of course the goal is a strong and well organised cycle with strong anabolic effects for long and steady muscle gains and not to many side effects

and the cycles you told me about are the basic bulk cycles we allk now, but is there some sort of a secret weapon cycle that is suprisingly potent that is not as basic as test+mast or test+primo?

Growth hormone. Pair it with enough anabolics and you'll grow like weed. But in reality, you should stop asking if there is a secret cycle that gives super gains - there isn't. Even if you hit all pathways for growth (androgens, GH, insulin,...) you will gain maximum 1kg of muscle mass per month. All flashy compounds (e.g. DHB, ment, anadrol, superdrol) are super toxic and not sustainable. I had a client who came to me while running 1g of test, 500mg of NPP and 500mg of tren acetate per week. The guy didn't look like he lifts and couldn't stay on a cycle like that for more than a month. The sustainability of the cycle is what makes it effective. Use enough test to get enough e2 to maximise your IGF1 response ad wellbeing, add a secondary injectable anabolic (preferrably something with zero interractions like masteron, but if unavailable, use something that controls aroamtisation like primo or boldenone). Add as much GH as you can afford and run for as long as bloodwork is fine. Trust me, this will make you progress more than any exotic toxic compound ever will.

And take your time ! You can´t gain 10KG muscle mass every year ! (perhaps in the first year when you start), but the higher you get the lower the gains will be !

Make bodybuilding / strenght training, etc your lifestyle ... enjoy the journey - the path is the destination.

When I started training in 1991 with 16 years , i had about 75KG. I trained complety natural till 23, I had about 86KG then.

The i started with gear and my BW slowly went up ... some years +6KG, some years +3KG, and some years 0KG.

I have my current weight (127-130 KG) since nearly 10 years now. There is no reason for me to go higher, (i could, i only take a minimum amount of gear now), but it is wiser to have less weight in old age , i wan´t to live some more years 😜

I can also say, instead of adding toxic compunds in high doses , just add some HGH and stay lower with other stuff !

And take your time to grow ! Enjoy the journey and stay healthy ! There is no need to ruin your body for quick progress that will not last !
