Hello,
I would like to know if abdominal pain is common when taking tirzepatide.
I started my injections two months ago; I take them once a week, every Sunday.
For the first four weeks, I had no issues at the 2.5 mg dose.
In the fifth week, I moved up to 5 mg. I started experiencing pain (accompanied by gas and rotten-egg-tasting burps) on Tuesday morning. The symptoms were manageable and cleared up very quickly.
The following Tuesday was a nightmare: massive gas, disgusting burps, and, above all, severe pain that forced me to lie down at work. It lasted until Wednesday morning.
Since then, I have continued to experience the same symptoms (though much milder than on that particular Tuesday) 30–48 hours after the injection.
Is there a solution to reduce the side effects of trizapeptide?
Regards,
