I'm currently planning on doing a DHB and deca cycle along with test for 10 weeks at the following dosages:
- Testosterone 250mg x week
- Deca 400mg x week
- DHB 200mg x week
My goal is to stay very lean and avoid gaining any water weight. I already measure sodium, and I've reduced it a lot during those PCT weeks.
Any recommendations for ancillaries or cycle advice on how to run it properly according to my objective?

Right now there isn’t much anyone can tell you because you’re missing the most important information. With what you wrote, all I can give is a superficial opinion, and running DHB + Deca + Test blindly is the last thing you want.

Before giving you anything meaningful, I need the basics:

  1. How long you’ve been training.
  2. Your actual condition, including photos.
  3. Past cycle experience and how you responded.
  4. Recent bloodwork results.
  5. Your real diet and calorie intake.
  6. Your exact physique goal.

Without that, any advice is just guessing. And guessing with DHB and Deca is a great way to ruin a cycle.

DHB is dry, aggressive and usually needs higher doses to deliver its signature look.

Deca is the opposite: smoother, a bit “wet”, more suppressive, and very sensitive to estrogen and prolactin management.

Putting them together can work, but only in very specific situations. It’s not a magic combo for staying lean.

Test 250 mg/week is fine as a base.

DHB 200 mg/week is on the low end if you expect strong cosmetic changes.

Deca 400 mg/week definitely isn’t a “lean” dose for most people. Water retention is influenced by much more than sodium: estrogen, carbs, stress, sleep, training frequency… all of it matters.

At the very least, you should have a proper AI available, something to manage prolactin if symptoms appear, and a full health stack (NAC, TUDCA, omega-3, bergamot, electrolytes), plus bloodwork before and after.

But again… this is just general commentary.

I need your details before saying whether this cycle makes sense or if it needs to be rebuilt from scratch.

Go check my cycle log as there I've updated with more info. I'm currently running a PCT and I'm responding very well after the compounds I used, the thing I'm the most scared of is water retention and I want to avoid that as much as possible during this cycle, and maybe I will bump up the DHB dose to match the deca dosing per week to maintain fluid balance, what do you think?

Water is not just about sodium. It also depends on a complex hormonal environment as Shark said, and he forgot to mention aldosterone 😁

10 weeks you won't have any benefit from deca.
And 10 weeks of cycle in general is shit to get the benefits out of it. Unless you want to do a purely cosmetic cycle but in that case you didn't choose the right compound.

Testosterone / primo / masteron for that, if you are really lean below 10% bodyfat you will be beautiful and healthier.

Your goal is to stay lean and nothing else? So no need for steroids, control your diet 👌

There are millions of people who are lean without steroids on this planet 😁

Yea my goal is just for a cosmetic "upgrade" cycle since this is the compounds I have right now and I'm planning my cycle, I'm not below 10% BF unfortunately but once I reach that mark I will consider test / primo / mast as a cycle as it effectively makes sense

In this case there are plenty of options available if it's just cosmetic. Some are more aggressive than others and therefore harder on your health

I won't get addicted easily, i know my natural potential and i embrace it when i have the chance.
Also i'm aware of other cosmetic compounds but i want to be safe with this cycle and get the most out of it.
I'll update on how it goes, i have mild expectations for this.
