Hello everyone,

I don't know if I'm posting in the right group, but I'd like some advice.
I'm currently in a mini-cut (body recomposition) phase. I currently weigh 94 kg and stand 1.76 m (5'10").
I'm preparing for a competition in May 2026, and my trainer's plan for this mini-cut is to stabilize me around 95 kg (201 lbs) while being fairly dry, and then return to a clean muscle-building phase before starting the final cut phase before the competition.
I'd like to know which cycle you recommend I follow during my current mini-cut phase? Or should I stick with a simple TRT (if TRT, what type and dosage)? And what cycle do you recommend during the muscle-building phase?
Thanks everyone!

Hello.

If it's not an aggressive cut, a dose of cruise is more than enough. Especially if the next cycle will be heavier with higher dosages.

What does your prep think otherwise ?

Right now the smartest move is to stop thinking in “what’s the best cycle” terms and start thinking in what phase are you truly in. At 94 kg on 1.76 m, planning for May 2026, you’ve got a long timeline. That means your real edge isn’t going to be in throwing compounds around randomly, but in periodizing properly and actually documenting progress so you know what’s working.

For a mini-cut/recomp, you honestly don’t need much more than a low-moderate Test base ( 200–300 mg/week ) with diet doing 80% of the work. If you absolutely want to enhance, you can layer something mild like Primo or Masteron in the 300–400 mg range to help keep you dry and hold fullness. Tren, orals, and heavy stacks are overkill this far out. They’ll make the diet easier in the short term but burn your health and responsiveness before the real prep even starts.

When you switch to a proper building phase, that’s when a heavier stack makes sense: Test + Primo or Deca/NPP for volume, maybe DHB if you tolerate it, but doses should still escalate gradually. Then the final prep is where harsher compounds like Tren or Winny have their place… not 18 months out!!

But here’s the big one: if you want real advice from people here, you need to document. Post clear pics in consistent lighting, log your macros, log training volume, log PEDs with dosages and timing. Otherwise it’s just theory. We can’t tell you whether TRT is enough or whether to push harder without seeing your actual condition.

So yeah… right now? Keep it simple, keep it light, let food and training do the heavy lifting. Save the heavy artillery for when it actually counts. And if you want solid feedback, drop progress shots and a detailed log…

that’s how you’ll get advice that matches your real physique, not just cookie-cutter cycle talk.
