Hi everyone.
Started my TRT Cycle 5 months ago.
33y old
180cm
88kg

Week 1-4
Testos 83.333mg per week

Week 4-10
Testos 125mg per week

Gained weight up to 93kg and got a little fatty.
Tried to make sure to have at least 200g of protein every day.

Week 10-now
145mg Testos per week
2.5mg Retatrutide
500mg L-Carnitine inject

Lost weight gradually down to 81kg!!!! Strength in the gym stayed the same.
Not sure if I gained an awful lot of muscle with a daily deficit of about 800kcal but i feel great. Having less body fat helps with fighting aromatase - so no isses at all with 145mg Testos.

Bloodwork looks good. Energy levels climbed back up - more drive than I Used to have for years and years.

Goal is to go down to 75kg to have a good starting point to gain clean mass.
Might up the dose to 175mg Testos then to see where it takes me.

Will keep you posted!!

Hi Specko!

Nice progress so far, dropping from 93 kg to 81 kg while keeping strength is not easy, so clearly you did something right with the diet and consistency. Getting leaner also explains why your estrogen management feels easier now. Feeling better, more energy and drive is exactly what people hope for when TRT is dialed in.

That said, it’s a bit hard to judge the whole situation with the information provided. We don’t know your training structure, body fat percentage, cardio, sleep, or how long you’ve been lifting seriously. Those details matter a lot when trying to understand whether the changes you’re seeing come mainly from the compounds, the deficit, or just improved lifestyle.

Also, remember that an 800 kcal daily deficit is quite aggressive. The fact that your strength stayed stable is great, but it likely means most of the improvement came from fat loss and better nutrient partitioning rather than large muscle gain during that phase.

About increasing testosterone to 175 mg later, I’d personally be cautious. If bloodwork, mood, libido and energy are already good at 145 mg, there isn’t always a reason to push the dose higher. Often the smartest move on TRT is to find the lowest dose that keeps you feeling and performing well.

Overall though, getting lean first and then slowly building from there is a solid strategy. Hitting 75 kg lean will give you a much better base for a clean growth phase. Just keep monitoring bloodwork and make sure training and nutrition stay consistent.
