A friend of mine is trans and testosterone from driada was this only way to get to transitioning. So my question is how the people here are feeling about this: Steroids not just being jused for body hacking but also by desperate transgender individuals.

Well, hormones are hormones. It's the same stuff.

What actually bothers me is that female hormones are simply unavailable except for some trans shops which are barely working, so hormones that women would need were completely impossible to get until males started wanting them.

What a nice approach, but indeed it is what it is

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Yeah, I meant no judgment or bad intentions, I'm glad if they find what can help them, that's why everyone is here, and hormones are the same. It got me thinking, though, that many trans people can only use sources that are mostly created for men, and many women can only use sources that were created for trans people, at least in this corner of the world. Probably not in the US or western Europe.

No judgement. We would absolutely love to help. If your friend feels comfortable talking, we are here. We will be brutally honest, but if your friends appreciate people who care and will put them first, 100% we will.

Like mentioned before, hormones are hormones, but its too a degree. Depending on how you transition, age, age of consent, understanding this is life long and irreversible, sure.

By the way, I follow a couple trans athletes, and one of them, who is a bodybuilder, looks very much like (a bit smaller) Jeff Nippard, so much that I always have to double check which one of them appears in my feed. I guess that should really qualify as success and an accomplishment, many people just dream about that.
